Phoebe!!!
She has arrived...at 11:15am in the lobby of the hotel with her nanny, she walked right into the hearts of the Hansens. It has been a rough day. As many of you know, it is a hard thing for a little child to leave everything they have known and go to people who look, sound, smell, and feel different than what they are used to. And it is hard for Phoebe. It is obvious that she has been well loved and well carded for by her wonderful nanny and that she is grieving the loss hard. Shana says, "We feel helpless to sooth Lili's wounded heart, she has experienced so much loss in her life." Please pray that our Father in heaven will comfort her and that she will allow her new Mama and Baba and Jie Jies to comfort her.

Tears are streaming down my face!! Joy mixed with sadness for her. Her face looks like Lydia's did. Fear, unknown. Prayed most of the night. Will continue. So happy she is with you!!! Love you guys!!!
ReplyDeleteWe have been through this twice with our daughters. They were about her age when we adopted them. So hard at first, but what a beautiful thing in the long run. We adore your new daughter. Thank you for giving her a family. We will be praying for you all.
